And We do not delay it except for a fixed term.
The Three-Time-Knower Lord has already inscribed in His Book, Adhikr, everything happening in the universe, as explained in verses 2: 255 and 10: 61. Verses 53: 56-58 state: "This is a Reminder from the Reminders that came before. The Approaching Day has approached. There is no remover of it except Lord Allah." At the time of this revelation, Adhikr was not yet codified as a Book. However, now that Adhikr which is the Balance and Trust to keep the universe in its equilibrium has been formed through the Three-Time-Knower mentioned in verse 25: 59. The forerunners who will enter Paradise without Trial have the opportunity to extend the dateline by propagating Adhikr throughout the world, as explained in verses 7: 205-206. Only after the departure of the last forerunner from this world, ten crucial signs of Doomsday as described in verse 6: 158 will occur one by one. See explanation 6: 2; 8: 59; 10: 11, 54.
